     How did you install it? Did you use the OOo that came with Fedora 5 or 
did you download it from www.openoffice.org? (Red Hat has made some 
modifications in the OOo it includes in its distributions of Fedora.)
     It is possible that you have not installed the Fedora menu rpm file. If 
this was installed, you should be able to go to the menu on the screen's 
toolbar and locate Office in that menu. OOo's components should be listed as 
a submenu of Office.
     Otherwise, you can create a shortcut on the desktop. You will have to 
find this file: soffice. Under the Application tab, list the path to soffice.
