The problem is probably that you have the language set differently in the document to what you have a dictionary for. You need to do the following: 1. Go to Tools- Options- Language Settings- Languages and see what your default language is. The name of the language should have a little icon on the left with ABC and a blue tick to indicate that the dictionary for that language is installed. If it doesn't you will either have to install the dictionary or change the language. 2. Now go to your document. Do ctl-A to select the whole document. Right click on the page and select Character. Under the fonts tab, in the middle of the box it tells you the language used by the document. Again is it one for which you have a dictionary installed? If not change it to one that you do.
