This is a wild guess, and you may not be doing what I'm suggesting. I'm guessing that you do not close OOo before shutting down the PC. In that case it is conceivable that your local status is not saved properly as the program is aborted rather than terminating normally. Have you tried quitting OOo and then restarting it to see whether the list is what you expect?
