Fair enough on both counts, but I dare say what I'm asking is pretty generic, not OS-specific.
Will have a look at the install docs, though; thanks for the tip.

Is it something I said? I wonder...

A bit surprised no one is bothering to shed some light on this one...
I mean, how difficult can it be to add a few fonts in 2.0? I had
done it a couple of years ago in 1.1.3 TechPreview on OS X Panther.

So, guys, please, help a little.

(BTW, why is it that email from my regular account doesn't reach
the mailing list? I have no problem with other recipients. I can
only email the [email protected] mailing list through my Gmail
account.)

I know I could use NeoOffice (and I actually do) but I also need
to use the X11 version from time to time (usually, when I need it

But, how do I convert and then use my other MacOS X fonts within
OOo 2.0? I tried running spadmin but nothing happpened.

Many thanks, people.

Probably for two reasons:
     1. Very few Mac users on the list
     2. Have you looked at the set of install docs on hte Mac download
page? Look where the page says "A documentation that helps you
installing OpenOffice.org X11 on your PPC or Intel based Mac is
        available for download"
