Re: [users] I am using Open Office 2.0 dutch. When saving a file, in most cases OO does not automatically add the extension (i.e. .odt) so the file is later on not recognized as an OO file and I have to manually select a program to open the file again.

     When you save a file for the first time, there are three 
checkboxes at the bottom of the Save As window. Leave the first
checkbox alone as it has to do with encrypting the file. The second 
one is Automatic file extension. You should always make sure that is 
checked when saving a file. You have experience what happens if you 
do not do this.
