As follows (Should be the same for any OOo2.0.x at least):
- go to Tools->Customize. Select the "Toolbars" tab and select the
"Standard" toolbar.
- click the Add button, to add a new icon to the toolbar.
- in the new dialog, under "Categories" choose "Document"
- under "Commands" choose "Print". This will add the icon to the list at
the top.
- select and move the icon using the down-arrow button to move it next
to the "Print File Directly" icon.
- make sure the new icon is checked, and then uncheck the "Print File
Directly" icon to remove it's visibility from the toolbar.
Now you have an icon that does the same as Ctrl+P.

PS. Thanks. I'd never bothered to try this before - I simply ignored
that icon.
