Thanks Osvaldo.

This looks like the same thing that Pierre wrote about in another thread. Just 
a different URL. I presume that the second largest rpm file on that list is all 
that is needed to install OOo with U.S. English. Is that correct? I certainly 
don't need support for a whole bunch of languages.

I am using KDE to provide my desktop.
