Emmanuel,
Are you sure you have X11 installed, as opposed to the X11 SDK? They
are not the same. The X11 which you need is a small application which
is typically installed in your /Applications/Utilities folder. Its
size is 796kB. The X11 SDK (which you may have installed by mistake)
is a much larger proposition.
