I discovered that while Open Office is open it saves the document in a cache
location. When you exist Open Office a dialog appears that gives you the
option to upload or not upload the file back to the webdav folder. If you
select upload the file is upload as expected.

Subject: [users] Does OpenOffice 2.0 for Linux support webdavs protocol

I running PCLINUXOS MiniMe 0.93, OpenOffice 2.0.2.

Does OpenOffice 2.0 for Linux support webdavs protocol? I'm trying to open
and save documents via an Apache server running webdav over ssl. I can
access, edit and save documents in other applications via this method. For
example I can open a document from the webdavs folder in KWrite, which works
on a local cached copy of a file and then uploads the file from the cache
location to the webdavs folder when saving.
