Appologies if I get this wrong as I am both new to OpenOffice and mailing lists!
I have just started using Writer for my PhD thesis as Microsoft Word was causing too many problems. I have got to grips with Writer pretty quickly and am really pleased with how it works (why didn't I find it long ago?!) but there are a couple of things I want to do but can't seem to work out how. I have a lot of pictures (graphics/diagrams) etc pasted in to the document, I want to be able to select two of them that sit side by side and align them along their bottom edges for example. 1. I can't work out how to select more than one pasted picture (I have tried dragging a box around them with the selection arrow in the draw menu and it doesn't seem to work) 2. Once I've selected them can I align them to each other in this way? I hope this makes sense, thanks very much for any help. Sarah
