You may only be able to do this is you choose an XY chart, since the
other ones are simply bar charts, so each bar is labelled.
I think you might want an XY chart anyways, so try changing the chart
type and then editing the X-axis.

Yes there is. When you are editing the chart (selected by a double
click), click on the x axis. Then right click and select properties.
There should be a tab for scale and you can make your adjustments.
