For Linux computer, KOffice and Abiword will not both write/read
the open document file format used by OOo 2.0.x. Neither will
write/read the OOo 1.1.x versions.
For Windows computer, Abiword will do this. It is not likely that
WordPerfect can do this unless the latest version has added this
functionality. Corel's web site says the latest WP (edition X3) will
open over 150 different file formats, but it does not specifically
say open document formats are included.
The latest OOo versions will open WP document files.
