Due to a lack of interest by the Spanish QA people, there is no QA'd version of OpenOffice.org 2.0.x for Spanish (es). If you want to download a version of OpenOffice.org that has not gone through the formal Quality Assurance (QA) process, go to ftp://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/MacOSX/2.0.3rc7 and look for the appropriate file for your system. If you are running an Intel based Mac the word Intel should be in the file name, if you are running a G3, G4 or G5 based Mac the work PPC should be in the file name. If you are using Safari, you must copy the file name onto the desktop and then click on the link to start the file download. If you are using Firefox/Camino/Mozilla you can start the file download from within the browser window. Once the file download completes, click on the .dmg file and this will start a file image verification process. If the verification fails, attempt to download the file a second time. If the file verification process passes, a new window will open. Please drag and drop the OpenOffice.org file into your Applications folder. PLEASE DO NOT RUN THE APPLICATION FROM WITHIN THE FILE FOLDER, THIS WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY. Also, the user that does the drag and drop should be an administrative user on your system. Also, please note that the PPC version will only work with Panther and Tiger. Jaguar support is no longer provided.
