I use Thunderbird 1.5.0.5. Thunderbird is essentially an email client.
However, Thunderbird's address book is very comprehensive and works directly
with OpenOffice. Once in OpenOffice, File/Wizards/Address Data
Source/Thunderbird and follow the rest of the promtpts. Thunderbird is also
Open Source and is free.
http://www.mozilla.com/thunderbird/ Thunderbird essentially does not have a
calendar, if you need one. You can download a calendar extension that works
directly in Thunderbird, or you can download the external calendar, "Sunbird",
whiach I use.

I was wondering what you all are using for e-mail and contact management
(similar to Outlook), as OpenOffice doesn't currently have anything similar
to it.
