Keith and Bruce:

It should not matter if the numbers are plain text or integers (numbers). The
sort
should run. What concerns me is that this is not the first report of a
spreadsheet
crashing OpenOffice.org to the desktop. I worked on one issue and could not
get it to repeat, but I am using Mac OS X and not the Windows version. Also,
which Native Language version are you using?

Bruce:

Could you please open an issue on the OpenOffice.org IssueZilla and attach
the spreadsheet if it does not contain personal data. If the spreadsheet
contains
personal data, please send it to me: [EMAIL PROTECTED] so that I can
attempt to recreate the crash.

Thank you.
