Thanks for your helpful response. As you will see by my next question I'm a
novice at this. Maybe my age (85) is the answer. Here's what I did, as you
suggested. I now have issue 2.0.
I open and find my curser in the middle of the screen inside of a perforated
box which covers half the screen. How do I eliminate this perforated box to
begin using 2.0 for clear sailing in the normal manner?

John:
There are a couple of ways to select a chart, and depending on the one you
have you can or cannot delete it.
If you double click the chart, then you are editing it, so you can't
remove it.
If you single click a chart, you can then delete it.
To reset the selection, click anywhere else in the sheet out side of the
chart, then single click the chart and hit your delete key. This should
remove the chart.
Let us know if that doesn't work for you.

p.s. The latest version is 2.0.3 which has lots of updates and new
features, and is a free download. (Must have Win98+) You can uninstall
your old version if you like, or just have both on your computer (2.0.3
will install in a different directory).
