Hi James,

Check for the existance of the following file:

~./openoffice.org 2.0/user/template (for UNIX/Linux)

~/Library/Application Support/OpenOffice.org 2.0/user/template (for Mac OS X)

If the directory does not exist, nor will any templates. This is/was a known
problem
and started in 2.0.2 when the Mac OS X team moved the user preferences directory
to a more appropriate directory to comply with Apple's Human Interface Guide and Directory Placement Guide.

BTW, the ~ above means the user's directory and is usually reached in a terminal
session (the old command line interface) by simply typing in cd.

I don't know where this directory resides for Windows.
Thanks James.
The directory is also in ~./openoffice.org 2.0/user/

By the way: although the subject of this message suggests different, the question is about the possibility to set the paths for templates and so. It's not about missing templates.

Greetings,
Cor
