I am using version 2.0 of OpenOffice.org. My problem is :Using writer,I
am not able to consistantly apply list styles to paragraphs by double
clicking on a style in the applied styles list. ie. after applying a
style (by double clicking) the resultant font size is not always the font
size established in the style definition. I have studied the Writer user
guide chapt 7 but am stumped.
Also, more generally, I'm not sure I'm using the best method of
formatting a doc from a template. What I'm doing is:
1) creating and manually formatting a doc and then saving the template
Manual formatting overrides the formatting in the style.
For example, if a section of text is manually formatted to 24 point, while
the style you apply to it is 12 point, the test will remain at 24 point.
To remedy this, select the problem area (or you might want to select the
whole document just to be sure), and select Format / Default Formatting
from the menu.
