The stick: keyboard switching is OS function and not OOo, so no wonder
that OOo macro recorder doesn't record it.

If you are _really_ interested how to do it, I think you should
better ask on some 'macro'? or developers list if it's possible to
access this function from a macro at all.

Or maybe it's possible to get the layout switching keystroke signal in
OOo somehow? Again, you must know which language is switched to apply
the correct character style.

Even if it is possible, I guess it's non-trivial.
