First, check the md5sums.  That will tell you whether you have faulty downloads.

If both downloads are faulty, you may need to use another downloader.  Some are
listed on http://download.openoffice.org/  I suggest you think about using
bittorrent.  It is very reliable.  See http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/
