Hi John, Firstly, I would request that you only reply to the list, not to me directly. The reason being that someone else on the list may have experienced the same problem and can offer you the benefit of knowledge I don't posses. Also your message sent directly to me finished up in my spam filter bucket and I have only just stumbled across it by chance.

I have setup OOo on 3 or 4 different computers which had WinFax on them and the WinFax printer driver worked perfectly in every case. 2. Before I answered your post I tested (as a double check) on one of my computers (almost identical setup to your description) and the WinFax driver worked perfectly from OOo Writer. 3. The error message is almost certainly coming from WinFax, which suggest that there is an issue with your WinFax or Windows configuration. Try going to http://www.symantec.com/index.htm and enter WinFax in the search option. This will return 100+ WinFax related issues, one of which may point you in the right direction for a solution.
