Hello List:
I'm not a power user by any means, and am at a loss to figure out what
this problem is. I've never encountered it before.
I have three sheets in the spreadsheet I am currently working on. When
I do a print preview, only the second sheet (one page) is there, even
if I am on the first or third sheets when I select the preview.
When I use View > Normal, everything looks fine.
When I use View > Page Break Preview, I see that the first and third
sheets are grey. The second sheet (that appears in the preview)
displays as expected.
If I've changed a setting somewhere, I sure don't know where it is.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Kris
This is my guess: You defined a print range on your second sheet, but
you didn't define a print range on sheet 1 or sheet 3. Check to see if
this is the case. If so, this would explain it.
A (somewhat annoying, in my opinion) feature of Calc is that there is a
default print range for every sheet, which will print all of the
contents of that sheet. HOWEVER, if a print range is defined for any
sheet, it basically deletes the default range for all other sheets. So
if you define a print range in one sheet, you need to define a print
range in all other sheets that you want something printed out of.
Let me know if this sounds like it could be the explanation in your
case. (If this isn't it, then I don't have any other hypotheses, but
others on the list may.)
Hi, Richard
Yes, that was it! Thanks! I do remember seeing the print ranges dialog
box at some point yesterday when I was trying to work with the functions.
As I recall, I simply closed it, but I must have done something else,
because that is what the problem was.
Thank you very much for the help. Since I didn't intentionally change
anything on this, it never occurred to me to check that.
Thanks!
Kris
