Thanks for the reply. So there is no tool from OpenOffice to shutting down
the process, Isn't it ?

What Operating System?

In Linux, Solaris, MacOSX, you should be able to find the process for
OpenOffice.org and then kill it.
In Windows, open the task manger, switch to the process list and then
terminate the process.
