I'm mystified. I installed OpenOffice v2.0.3 on 2 identical G4
powerbooks running Mac OSX 10.4.7
I installed X11 from my Tiger (OSX 10.4) upgrade CDROM. On one Mac and
on a PC running WinXP it works perfectly.
On the other Mac, In the default Writer window, I can use the file-> new
method to create new Writer, Text, Calc, database, Draw, and Impress
documents. However,I can't access the Calc, Draw,or Impress newly
created files . I am attaching an X11 screen shot that
shows all of the newly created documents listed in the X11 window menu,
as well as the 3 applications I can access.
I did multiple uninstalls and installs of X11 and OpenOffice v2.0.3.
At one point my brother thought it might be due to a corrupted
preferences file, so I trashed the com.apple.x11.plist file to
no avail.
Any help appreciated.
