Most likely, you have not closed the Quickstarter program. Among
the icons in the system tray (next to the clock) is an icon with sea
gulls. Right click on it and then select Exit. That should close
Quickstarter. Then remove the program using the Add/Remove program in
the Control Panel. If you are using Windows 2000 or XP, you should be
logged in as the Administrator before removing the program. You
should also have an Anti-Virus programs closed first also.
