The last time I did a count, ten Grammar checkers for OOo were
available. (They covered roughly 15 languages.) They have to be added by
the end user, for the appropriate language(s).
and if you type two two words in the same pattern, it doesn't warn you (like
Word).
That is function of the grammar checker that one uses within the OOo
environment.

The end user can add/customize that for their own preferences.
