     Yes, it is. Use File > Wizards > Install new dictionaries. You 
will probably need JRE installed on your computer to do this. If you 
do not have JRE installed, you can get it at www.java.com.
     But before downloading any new dictionaries you need to check to 
see how many of them you already have. Format > Character. Under the 
Font tab there is a list of languages labeled Languages. Click it to 
open the list of languages. The ones with an abc & check mark have 
their dictionaries already installed. You may well have French, 
English (UK), German, and Italian already installed.
     Unless you already know how to use styles, you will need to 
learn. The language of a word is a property of either the paragraph 
style if the whole paragraph is one language, or the character style 
if the word is one language while the rest of the paragraph is 
another language. 
     Examples:
How are you?    (Paragraph style would be English.)
Ich heisse John Brown. (The paragraph style could be English which the 
German words would need a character style with German as the 
language.)
