I am using version 2.0.3 of OpenOffice.org. My problem is :

I would like to use Calc to perform some data analysis.

Particularly Excel's FFT add-in is very buggy and hard to use.

Are there any FFT facilities or plans to implement same.

But the data analysis tools in excel , whilst often buggy are relatively
abundant and easy to start.

Ideally a way to analyse a set of data from a button press would be
nice.

e.g. generate a button labeled "FFT" for example, which contains all the
info necessary to analyse some specified data. E.g. input data, output
data ,

a similar strategy could be used for initiating other analysis
functions, e.g. histograms, other transforms,

sincerely yours
