Ok, after a lengthy discussion with the person that I had problems with I am back. I will restrict my assistance at this point to Mac OS X users and problems they are experiencing.
What I did while I was away was to look into the two different platforms that OpenOffice.org is released on and why a problem that was identified a long time ago has not been resolved. I continue to work on this problem because I believe that this is the cause of a majority of the difficulties experienced by Mac OS X users.
