Hi *,

I've an interesting challenge with fields :-)

In Writer, I can insert a field Next Page (Ctrl-F2, Document, Page, ..) this displays the number of the next page - as the name suggests.

Now, at a certain point I start with a another page style, and re-start numbering at 1. Therefore in the page before, I don't want the Next Page-field to display anything. Oh yes, of course the Next Page-field is in the footer.
So in drawing:

   -----------
   | 1       |
   |         |
   |         |
   |         |
   |       2 |
   -----------

   -----------
   | 2       |
   |         |
   |         |
   |         |
   |       3 |
   -----------

   -----------
   | 3       |
   |         |
   |         |
   |         |
   |       4 |  <<< must be blanc, but how??
   -----------
  _____________
   ----------- continue in the same document
   ||     1 ||    with another page style
   ||       ||
   ||       ||
   ||       ||
   ||       ||
   -----------
   -----------
   ||     2 ||
   ||       ||
   ||       ||
   ||       ||
   ||       ||
   -----------

I've been thinking of something with hidden text field, etc. but until now without success.

I've been looking a little more close at Conditional text and Hidden text and Hidden paragraph. But I think I stump to the same problems with all of them: I think I should be able to use two variables: one defined by myself, and set by a macro, and the second one just PAGE. But using both in the condition (Hidden paragraph), or defining one as the result (Conditional text and Hidden text), doesn't seem possible ...

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Cor
