I believe that feature was new with XP (though I could be wrong!) and
Dennis did not state his OS. Anyhow, I'm sure it was not there with Win
'98, don't remember it with Win2K (but live for most of my waking hours
inside a Mac)
thanks for pointing it out though, I admit I only thought of it after
clicking Send....
It's been a while since I've worked with older versions of Windows, but
if it's not available, there should be something under folder
options>file type, available in any folder.
