Sorry,
I really have no more ideas for you, except that you should probably talk
to your system administrator who should be able to verify that OpenOffice.org
is trying to access the site and is not being allowed to (i.e. it is not
using the proxy). They may have some other setting that automatically
redirects applications to using a proxy which is not working correctly.
