Hi Brian, The problem is that the default format of Calc cells is not for strings (after all Calc is for manipulating numbers). To avoid the problem you have 2 options : - if you are pasting always into the same column or row, then you can simply change the format of that column(or row) by clicking on the name of the row(or column) so that every cell in it is highlighted.
