Even if the OS is pre-installed, you should still have received a DVD
with the computer, in case you needed to reinstall the OS (rare), or
to add extras such as X code or, in this case, X11. The download is
for 10.3, not 10.4. Either contact the dealer or person you got the
computer from, or borrow a DVD.

existing X11 and downloading the program from the Apple site.
However, my computer says that X11 is still installed and wont let
me load the new one, or Open Office. I've tried searching the hard
drive for X11 but cant find any program files. Any help is
