Forgive me for deleting the previous quotes

That may be a blessing in disguise...

, but I have a different problem, but the same subject:

Is there a way in OOo Calc to generate TRUE page breaks?  Example;

I'm using an HP 1320 laserjet that has duplexing (two sided printing) capability. I'm printing a 27 or so page spreadsheet that needs to be broken up by Technician ID number. Each tech may have any number of pages associated with their ID. But all pages associated with that ID are together, ie; Page 1 is all TechID1, Page 2-7 is TechID2, Page 8-11 is TechID3, etc...

I want the Laserjet to only print a particular Techs statistics per page, front and back. So the first page in the above example would have TechID1 on the front and the back of the page blank. The next sheet of paper would start with TechID2 and print the next 3 pages, front and back, with TechID2's stats. and so on.

I've tried inserting additional "manual breaks" INSERT > MANUAL BREAK in addition to the page breaks but cannot get the Laserjet to understand that I want the next page blank as in the case of TechID1.

There's an option in "Tools - Options - OpenOffice.org Calc - Print" to supress printing of empty pages, which is on by default. Turn it off and your method of inserting additional Row Breaks will work, if I can believe what I see in print preview. It's still not perfect though - it would be nice to be able to start each sheet on an odd number page, and have OOo automatically insert the required blank pages - as Writer appears to do. Then I could have suggested starting each TechID on new sheet, within the same Calc document - but that won't work as it is currently AFAIK.

Do I need to insert 66 blank lines to get the printer to understand?

BTW, I'm sorry to say that Excel does this properly. It's a true page break inserted, informing the printer
to print a blank page, not just a row break as OOo Calc inserts.

You probably have the same choice of supressing empty pages there too, but perhaps the default setting in different.
