You should probably add a bug report. Maybe some developer can take care
and help you to debug the problem.
The same file can be used normally with openoffice under Linux (but I
get different paging and the document becomes 50 pages longer, so that's
not a solution).
This should not happen.
Are you sure that you have the same fonts available under Windows and Linux?
The linux route seen the easiest solution for me. It looks like a
difficult bug to resolve, it's probably going to be easier to have the
same pagination in Linux (that doesn't means that it will be easy ;).
But first of all, just open the file on linux. Make some minor edit and
save it with a different name. Try to open the new file in windows, it
has solved some strange bugs in the past for me.
If you can resolve the pagination issues, you should try again to make
some minor edits in Linux and save the file. May reopening this file in
windows resolves the issue.
