SORRY FORGOT TO REPLY SO YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS ABOUT ********************* Thank you wonderful producers of the best office program in the world for responding to my plight. Yes it was with all word files, even ones created with open office. I assumed the converter was not installing properly. I also tried version 2 on several computers with no luck then a few days ago noticed you had an updated version ( 2.0.3) on the site so I downloaded and installed this and it now opens MS word *docs* just fine. I now have version 2.0.3 and all is well. So thanks again.......Wayne **************************
