Somehow this sounds as if you're not using english version, and the
message above is translated from your native language?

SDBC is OOo's database driver framework, and LDAP access is implemented
using a database driver.

I don't know of any place where this message you cited is raised, so I'm
clueless here. Which OS/OOo version/distro do you use?
