First, your doing nothing wrong. Downloading over a dialup connection
takes that amount of time.
Suggestion: order the CD on
http://distribution.openoffice.org/cdrom/index.html#cdrom
It will costs you some money for the CD and postage and handling, but
your telephone line won't be busy for half a day or more.
