If you use Visual Basic macros in your Word documents, I don't think they will work with OpenOffice.org, or maybe that changed with the latest versions?'

Even better, OpenOffice can send its documents in MS Office-format without the need to use save as... Keeping your disk clean, because you don't have to save documents in two formats.
