If it runs too slowly for you, try OpenOffice.org 1.1.5 which is somewhat
faster (but with less functionality, but it might be enough; I don't know
what you need, so I can't tell). My girlfriend have a HP Pavillion ZV5000
with 512 MB and 750 MHz with WIndows XP and OpenOffice.org 2.0. It is slow
but still fairly usable. Me, on the other hand, have Windows 98 (first
edition) on a 450 MHz 320 MB desktop (made in 1998) and I still use
OpenOffice.org 1.1.5 which is rather slow (a lot slower than MS Office,
unfortunately). I installed OpenOffice.org 2.0 a while ago and it was a real
pain, so I won't do that again until I bought a new computer (which on the
other hand might be rather soon).

Johnny
