Obviously something went wrong in the installationprocess. I'd suggest that you close the quickstarter (the bleu box with the seagulls) and the uninstall the software. Restart your computer and install OOo again. If any unexpected messages pop up, take a note. After you've completed the installation try starting any of the components.
If this doesn't work report back here and let us know which messages you encountered, maybe someone on this list can analyse what went wrong.
