When you save the presentation you must make sure you use "Save as" and then
make sure you choose "Microsoft Powerpoint ..." from the "Save as type:" list
within the "Save as" menu. Simply naming the file with ".ppt" at the end is
*not* sufficient as this does not change the internal format of the file.

Alternatively, you can simply send (from the File/Send menu) the presentation
in Microsoft format without ever saving that version on your computer - you
just save the OO version but send an MS version.
