With Calc open, use 'file / open', then select 'Text CSV (*.csv, *.txt)"
in the 'files of type' picklist. Browse to your file and open it. You'll
then be presented with a dialogue in which you specify how the data are
delimited.

You appear not to be subscribed to the users' mailing list. You could miss many of
