Here is the short answer: No you cannot upgrade from 1.1.4 to 2.0.3. Now, here is something that you should keep in mind, yes you can install OpenOffice.org 2.0.3 ALONGSIDE 1.1.4 and the new program should search for and use your older settings. Thus you have the ability to install and use 2.0.3 and if it is too slow or cumbersome, you can delete it and not affect your old 1.1.4 installation. If 2.0.3 does not work or is too slow, you can install 1.1.5, which includes the ability to read the OpenDocument Format (ODF) files but not write them. OpenOffice.org 2.0.3 includes the ability to read and write ODF files as well as read files you created in OpenOffice.org 1.x (as well as older versions of StarOffice.)
