No. Why should there be? OO can happily open Word documents and even, if you
ask nicely, save (or e-mail without saving) documents in Word format.
Because the original question from the OP was "I cannot read Microsoft
WORD documents." ... I figured that since OOo can do it, but the OP
cannot get OOo to do it, that there may be an error message associated
with the activity.
Was there any error message ?
