Did you read all the emails that you are replying?
Change it in Tools->Options->Calc->Print to make it "sticky".
I feel that it is a correct behavior. By default it should print the
whole spreadsheet. I usually make spreadsheets with various sheets (like
a sheet per month and a couple of years), printing it one by one is just
unnatural. That this is the default "Excel" way don't make it the
reasonable way.
Of course, it's quite important to make it "configurable" to ease Excel
migrations.
Most people are complaining about point 2, that is, why print preview
doesn't respect this setting. A clear bug for me.
