The problem seems to, as already suggested, that there is a space between
the word and the comma. I can also see that you did the same mistake in your original message (a space right before the question mark): "Is there any way
to impede this globally ?"

So I guess that the solution for this problem is to just learn not to press
the space bar when it shouldn't be pressed. =)

Hi,

I would like help on the following question: in some (rare) cases,
the comma
placed just after the last word on a line is send to the next line, as
illustrated in the attachment. Is there any way to impede this globally ?

This also happens with points, and in particular with end-points
placed after
a footnote.

Regards,

Marc
Another option, if you do this frequently enough, would be to go into Tools / AutoCorrect, and create an auto correction rule to replace space-comma with comma, and likewise with question mark, etc.
