it seems that if OO crashes, which it does do, it seems to put a lock file somewhere.

after it does the document recovery, if i try to write it to the original file name, it gives the 'general file I/O' error message. if i save it as another file name it writes it fine. if i copy the newly created file to the original file name then try to open the original file, it will only open it as a read only file.

does anyone know where it puts the lock file? or another way to get around this issue?
