the regular expression code was changed between StarOffice 5 and the
first OpenOffice.org version. So you cannot use all the same regular
expressions.
The application help of OOo tries to give a complete list of "regular
expressions". If you feel comfortable using them, please write down some
useful examples and submit your findings to
documentation.openoffice.org, so that all users can learn a bit more.
